If you edit a color in the using the experteditor, and want to see what the changes are, how can I view the template? There is no link or anything
so I can see what I did. I am using the defaut one cause I don't care
for either and wanting to get rid of the grey and in place it with FF0066
not 586976 and I understand either CSS to be able to at least do that.

I answered part of my question and came up with more questions Smile
You have to go back into your admin and then go to the site itself with
the url, but if you are working on something, that would be a real
pain to have to go back and forth. Your shopping cart in the template
that placement for a logo?
Will you be able to download and work with the site itself on your own
personal computer, like I do now with my own site, or is this something
that only be worked on within the admin?

Hi Kim,

Maybe some way to preview, then make more changes or accept? I agree with you that it would be easier to instantly preview.

As far as downloading to your own PC to edit...hmmm...ya got me thinking there.

Oh Ok what you mean I got you thinking there?Big Grin
Because I have always found it easier to work on, then just ftp it up view what I done, see any mistakes and fix it real time. I do it all the time with what I have now.

Preview like in a second window maybe and submit if you like what you have done or go back and fix whatever it is is an idea maybe.

Your cart is already bugging me as it is, and your help files can't be downloaded either using FireFox. (michele told me to download and read them) What fun is that? Big Grin
Will be there be more templates to pick from? Green or Grey just don't do it for me at all. Tongue

Hi Kim,

As we discussed on the phone, the actual program files are shared by all users, and dynamically configured using data from the database specific to each user, so it's not possible for you to download the files and edit them, as this would effect everyone else's cart.

Think of this as not a website, but an application.

However - I've been playing around with each user having their own directory where files specific to that user may be uploaded and edited with a file manager tool. It's not complete, yet, but I'm working on it.

In regards to a preview feature, I've now implemented that, and added some new templates as well.

I'm not seeing the problem with downloading the help files in firefox...it seems to work okay with mine...what happens when you click on the link?
