Members may be viewed by clicking on the "View Members" link in the Members Menu.
Members may be edited or deleted from the View Members page.
One of the unique features of 123 eCart is the ability to create various membership tiers. Members (website visitors) are assigned to tiers, and the membership tier one belongs to determines what a member may see and / or purchase, and determines the purchase price.
For example, you may want to offer all of your products at full price on the web, but you may have wholesalers who you wish to give a discounted price to.
123 eCart allows you to create a special tier for your wholesalers. When they log in, they will be given the discounted price you decided on before-hand.
The Anonymous Tier
Every 123 eCart Store has 1 tier already set up, by default. This is the Anonymous Tier". Any visitor who does not sign in to your website will, by default, be assigned to the anonymous tier. The anonymous tier may not be deleted or renamed. Members of the anonymous tier will always be charged the base price.
Adding a Tier
To add a tier, go to the members area of your admin control panel, and click on the "Tier Management" sub-link.
On top of the Tiers Table, there is an [ + ADD NEW ] link which will bring up a popup window when clicked.
In the popup window, select your tier name, and then the tier type.
You may create a Discount Tier or a Surcharge Tier.
A Discount Tier will subtract a percentage of the base price from the cost of all products for all members in that tier.
A Surcharge Tier will add a percentage of the base price to the cost of all products for all members in that tier.
Tier Permissions
Members of each tier will be granted certain permissions while visiting your storefront.
Permissions may be set to determine whether a tier member may view the products, view prices, and purchase.
Tier permissions follow logical rules of descent.
For example, if you set the browse permissions for a tier to "No", the "View Price" and "Purchase" permissions will automatically be set to "No" as well, since it logically follows that if you don't want a visitor to view the products, you won't want them to purchase either.
Editing a Tier
Tier Names, Types and percentage values may all be edited by clicking on the edit icon..
Deleting a Tier
When deleting a tier, all members of that tier will be automatically re-assigned to the Anonymous Tier.
