Each 123 eCart store contains products. For your convenience, and that of your shoppers, products are placed in categories.
A category may contain any number of products.
Options may be attached to a specific product, and a products
may be associated with any number of options.
To create a category, click on the Inventory link on your menu
bar. You will see a "Categories" table. This table will contain each category
you create. To create a new category, click on the "[+ADD]" link, provide a
category name and upload a category picture. (Hint: you could use the image of
one of the products that will be placed in this category for the category
picture).
Products are grouped inside of categories. To see the products for a specific category, navigate to the Inventory Page of your Admin Control Panel, find that category in the Categories Table, and click on the binoculars icon.
Once inside of your chosen category, you will see a Products Table.
To add a product, click on the "[+ADD]" link and input the
necessary product information into the Add Product Form
You may manage options for a specific product by navigating to the category page for that particular product, finding the product in the Products Table, and clicking on the Options icon for that product.
Once you navigate to the Options page, you will see an Options table, and a [+ADD] link.
To add options, click on the "[+ADD]" link and input the necessary product information into the Add Options Form.
123 eCart allows you to sell downloadable files from your store.
To set up a downloadable product, first add a new product in the usual manner.
Once you have done this, go to the CATALOG > PRODUCTS page in your administrative control file, and find your product.
Next to the product, find the files icon, and click on it:

Once in the files page, click on the ADD link. This takes you to the "Add File" page.
Your first task will be to select whether this file is an immediate or delayed download.
If you select immediate, the purchaser will be sent a download link as soon as they make payment.
If you opt to delay downloads, the purchaser will be sent a download link as soon as you approve the download in your administrative control panel.
Your next task is to upload your download file. All files must be .zip archive files. If your download file is not in .zip format, please zip it using winzip or another zip utility before uploading.
Finally, you may add a special product specific note which will be inserted into the email sent top the purchaser.
Once a download has been approved, the purchaser will be sent an email with a download link.
